This premier summit is the only industry event dedicated to complete connected solutions, with a protected networking environment for attendees and sponsors to help you have the one-on-one, personal conversations that will move your business forward.
New This Year: Data & Security Day
In response to popular demand from past attendees of the Global Connected Aircraft Summit and subscribers to both Avionics and Via Satellite, this year’s GCAS will introduce its first ever GCA Data & Security Day. This one day supplement added on to the end of the Global Connected Aircraft Summit will feature real world examples and insights into the collection, optimization, and protection of Big Data in aerospace.
Data & Security Day will bring together operators, OEM’s, MRO’s, part suppliers, and more who are actively utilizing Big Data to show real world examples of the benefits of driving flight operational efficiency through advancements in edge computing and data analytics platforms. Airline case studies will provide a perspective on the technological and cultural shift in the workplace needed to transition from being a reactive airline to proactively scheduling maintenance based on Big Data.
The security track will focus on the two biggest aspects of aerospace cybersecurity: protecting the connection between the aircraft and the ground based infrastructure that drive daily flight operations, and protecting the connection between the passengers’ personal electronic devices and the aircraft itself. Each additional connection point presents a new risk to the security of the aircraft, and aircraft IFEC cyber experts will provide insights into strategies for maintaining the security of the aircraft.
