Bret is a Boeing 737 Captain and former 737 Check Airman. He is the Director of Fleet Technology at Alaska Airlines where he leads the airline’s Technical Pilots and RNP and ACARS engineers. Bret currently oversees the EFB program, the proprietary RNP program, DataComm, and ACARS for Flight Operations and he maintains the Alaska Airlines avionics roadmap. Along with program management, Bret is charged with evaluation of emerging flight deck technologies. He is a retired US Air Force Reserve pilot who has worked for Alaska Airlines for nearly 18 years.
